Welcome to our blog page. Check back here often to learn about new and exciting things taking place in the office.
Over the past few months we've been blessed with several new additions to our practice family. On November 8, 2009, Dr. Nissen and her husband Andy welcomed their first child James, a beautiful, bouncing boy.

On the 15th of January, 2010, Kristen and her husband Matt welcomed their beautiful little girl Kendra.

For those of you that haven't been in for a while, we remodeled the office last April. Out with the castle theme - in with a safari/adventure theme. It was a whirlwind project coordinated by our staff member Becky Smith. She did an amazing job in only 10 days while Dr. Tracey was away lecturing in Italy.

Last September we had the treat of experiencing a real circus up close and personal. As guests of our good friend John Weiss and his talented family (wife Laura and children Nicole & Max), we not only got front row seats, but got to see Dr. Tracey release his inner clown and take part in the performance. Longtime veterans of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, John and his family are now principle performers for Circus Vargus. Amazing Race fans are sure to remember John as everyone's favorite during season 4 of the hit television show.

For all you American Idol fans, longtime friend and former patient Rickey Minor stopped by with his son Sean for a quick retainer check recently. In addition to being the Emmy-nominated music director of American Idol, Rickey is also the author of There's No Traffic on the Extra Mile, and a key collaborator to such music icons as Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce' Knowles, Ray Charles just to name a few.

It has been so great to see a number of our former patients go on to bigger and better things. One that we are especially proud of is Carlos Bocanegra. As many of you know, Carlos is a world famous professional soccer player. He began his career with the Chicago Fire where he was honored as MLS Rookie of the Year, and twice honored as MLS Defender of the Year. Since 2004 he has been splitting time between playing professionally in Europe and captaining the U.S. World Cup Team. During a recent visit over the holidays, Dr. Tracey was pleased to see Carlos' smile was still in championship form!
